Went here after a lovely walk in the Mendips. Pub was very quiet but the staff were lovely and the roast dinner was exceptionally good! Great beer, great food and great location, many thanks to the staff.

From booking a table through to having our meals the experience was excellent. The food choice was great and all 15 plates were delivered together. Food was excellent too. The two staff there were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. They even brought out two complimentary ice creams for my two granddaughters. Would really recommend the Seymour Arms if you are staying in or around the area. We were extremely happy with our evening out.

Lovely meal, despite being a large group (about 15 people), food came out well timed, was lovely and warm and very tasty! Staff were helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend for anyone needing some food the day before their wedding nearby!

We came here for lunch whilst completing the Gromit Unleashed 3 Trail after not being able to get a table at another pub. Service was outstanding, they were so helpful and provided crayons etc for our children without even asking. A great value lunch menu (simple but great kids menu) and we all had amazing meals, proper chips, plenty of cheese on the kids pasta and perfect mushy peas!! Couldn't fault anything about our visit at all, best meal of our whole holiday! 🙂

Came down on a holiday with some friends and the pub was lovely, in a great location and the staff are great. John was a pleasure to talk to and offered fantastic service.

The room was amazing and massive. The bed was so comfortable. The bath and shower were excellent. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Couldn't ask for anymore.

Stopped here for lunch while out 'Wallace & Gromit' hunting. Very good food at a great value price. Beer was spot on too. Landlord was very welcoming, hope to return one day 🙂

On holiday in Blagdon may 2025. Ate here 3 times, food was delicious, all home cooked, no frozen chips, real hand cut chips. Great veggie options. Dog friendly. Friendly staff, great service. It's just you want from a local pub.

Stopped for 2 nights as my partner had a wedding to attend nearby. The room was large, and the beds were massive! The pub serves food. The meal we tried was typical pub grub; no nonsense and hearty. The owners were friendly and accommodating. This is a handy place to stay if you're attending a wedding, flying to and from the airport or just want to explore the area.
